Any and all tenants of the building must agree to the following:
1. Rentals will not conflict with the Saturday morning Farmers' market.
2. The Tenant must carry appropriate special event liability insurance to a minimum amount of one million dollars, as well as tenants liability insurance to a minimum of one million dollars, and provide York County Properties Inc. with proof thereof. This proof must be submitted with copy of signed agreement no less than 15 days prior to event.
3. Tenants (or persons under their control) will not offer for sale any materials or goods of an objectionable nature.
4. Wine, beer, or liquor may be served, provided the Tenant holds a "Special Event" license from the Liquor Licensing Board.
5. The Tenant shall provide appropriate security for all events.
6. The Tenant will comply with the occupancy limits as posted (as follows): Notice of Occupancy - Office of the Fire Marshall - Limit New Section-entire Chairs and Tables 290, Standing 855, Limit Old Section-entire Standing 500.
7. The Owner does not accept any responsibility for items left in the building, nor does the Owner accept any liability for injury to person(s), or damage to property caused by any equipment, supplies, merchandise, or employees which are the responsibility of the Tenant.
8. The Tenant shall leave the facility free from garbage and other debris.
9. This facility is located in a residential neighborhood, and the Tenant must abide the following schedule:
Saturday events - music/noise to stop by 12:30 am - building to be cleared by 1:30 am
Sunday to Thursday events - music/noise to stop by 11 pm - building to be cleared by 12 am
10. The Tenant must comply with all Federal, Provincial, and Municipal regulations that apply to their particular event.
11. Groups or organizations booking the building as a rain venue will not be levied any fee if the owner does not incur any expense, or if no potential revenue is lost. (i.e. the building will be held at no charge, contingent on receiving another offer to rent for the same period. If another offer is received for the same period, the rain date tenant will be given the first right of refusal.)
W. W. Boyce Farmers' Market is a non-profit organization and the facility is made available as an event location at rental fees established to provide recovery of expenses and operating costs.
The W. W. Boyce Farmers' Market is a smoke free building.
Please note the platform railing is not removable.
